I was so glad to find a pair of ankle boots that were low heel but not biker-boot style or really chunky. These fit the bill and are very comfortable.

I’ve worn these a few times now. The leather is lovely and soft making the ankle comfortable. They keep the back of my leg warm and are easy to adjust for a neat fit.. The toe box is a good depth allowing for wriggle room. They are a little wider, than I usually wear (that was deliberate) but with a leather insole for additional warmth they are great. I have very cold feet. Great for several seasons but in colder weather a warmer sock or fur lined boot might be needed. I’ve not had a chance to try in cold weather so can’t know for sure. They feel a little wider than the Remonte New York boot I bought, which has warm lining.
